Difference between Fully Husked, Semi Husked, and Large Husked Coconuts:
Matured coconuts with the husk slightly removed are known as Large Husked Coconuts. They have a longer shelf life compared to Semi Husked and Fully Husked coconuts, making them suitable for delivery to long destinations.
When de-husking Large Husked Coconuts, they can be transformed into Semi Husked or Fully Husked coconuts as per the customer’s needs. Coconuts are utilized by consumption industries for various edible and non-edible products.
For Fully Husked coconuts, the entire husk is removed during de-husking. If the husk is not removed at the eyes of the coconut, it is referred to as a Semi Husked Coconut. The shelf life of Semi Husked coconuts is longer compared to Fully Husked coconuts.
The standard shelf life of Fully Husked coconuts ranges from 30 to 40 days, while Semi-Husked coconuts have a shelf life of 45 to 60 days. Large Husked coconuts have a shelf life ranging from 60 to 75 days.
The shelf life of coconuts also depends on factors such as sunlight exposure, moisture, and water content. We ensure that coconuts are well-packed and stored in containers to prevent decay while transporting to customer location.
We source coconuts from trees grown on exceptionally fertile, disease and pest-free soil in India.
